FTIR Spectrometer Bruker Vertex 70V
The Fourier Transform Infrared Spectometer (FTIR) Bruker VERTEX 70V, allow to collect infrared spectra in a wide frequency range (from UV to Far-IR) with an high spectral resolution, in vacuum conditions, reducing the water vapour and CO2 contributions. It allows to measure spectra both in transmission configuration than in ATR.
Technical characteristic
Vacuum system equipped with noise attenuated dry pumping, with a minimum pressure lower than 1 mbar
Ability to measure, even in vacuum, large samples (diameter up to 20 cm)
Sources:
Globar for medium infrared (MIR)
Tungsten halogen lamp for near infrared and visible (NIR&Vis)
Spectral ranges and resolution:
Far Infrared (FIR) from 700cm-1 to 50cm-1
Medium Infrared (MIR) from 8000cm-1 to 350cm-1
Near Infrared and Visible (NIR&Vis) from 19000cm-1 to 9000cm-1
Minimum spectral resolution of 0.4 cm-1
Supplies:
Macro ATR system Bruker "Platinum ATR", with single bounce diamond crystal
Detectors
DLaTGS with polyethylene window (PE) for FIR
DLaTGS with Caesium Iodide window (Csl) for MIR
Silicon diode for NIR&Vis
Software
Opus 7.8 software for spectrometer controll, spectra acquisition and analysis, with a complete FTIR-ATR Bruker library (more of 26000 spectra) for spectral comparison.
